My All Time Favorite Teas

I like to start my day with coconut oil also known as coconut oil pulling. It has really helped me especially with my allergies, but I will do a separate post on everything you need to know about coconut oil pulling; for now let's focus on tea. I like to start my day with a cup of hot tea. Below you will find my favorite teas and why I enjoy them so much all year round.

Lemon Tea

Lemon tea is one of my favorite teas because it has so many health benefits. First of all it has Vitamin C and it's also a natural diuretic, meaning this tea aids the body in getting rid of waste and flushes out toxins. I like to add a dash of cayenne pepper it adds a spicy flavor to the tea and cayenne pepper also has its own great benefits. I like to wait about thirty minutes before I have anything to eat, allowing the tea to alkalinize.

Chamomile Tea

Did you know Chamomile tea can help us ladies with menstrual pain, yes ladies it has helped me so much during that time of the month. I can go on and on about the benefits of Chamomile tea but let me just keep it short . Every night I drink a cup of Chamomile tea, it helps me get ready for bed and I feel more relaxed. I like to drink this tea also in the morning with breakfast or after my breakfast instead of coffee ( I haven't had coffee in about five years). Another reason why I love Chamomile tea is because of its antioxidants, if you didn't know antioxidants are super beneficial for our body.

Ginger Tea

What can I say about Ginger tea I mean I absolutely love it, and I know I have said that about the above mentioned teas but I truly love them all. I like to have this tea at all times during the day not just in the morning. I will add powdered ginger to my bottle of water with half a lemon and have it as day water; if I'm drinking this tea in the morning I like to grate fresh ginger and add it to hot water and let it sit there for a couple of mins. Ginger has so many health benefits it can help reduce muscle pain, soreness, and it has powerful antioxidants properties.

I hope you have enjoyed reading about the benefits of these amazing teas and why I love them so much.
